Very different sectors. One shared way of looking.

Four concrete transformations, all starting from the same work: understanding the flows before touching them.

What they have in common.

Each of these assignments started from the same work. Before touching anything, we mapped with our clients the architecture of their flows and the interactions between their departments. This is not caution for its own sake. Automating one department can seriously unbalance another. The gain in one is then wiped out by the difficulties of the other, output does not improve, and the company ends up concluding that AI ‘does not work’. It is this work, refined assignment after assignment, that we have formalised in the AI Flow Map.

We do not name our clients. The confidentiality we owe them is the confidentiality we will owe you too.

Rejection of AI is almost always avoidable, provided you look at the whole before acting on a part.

Renewable energy

Anticipating disruptions, managing production more finely

What changed

Supply disruptions are anticipated, and each feedstock is managed according to what it actually produces.

In renewable gas production, everything rests on a flow that is hard to control: the organic matter that feeds the plants. Its arrival has to stay regular, and its quality varies constantly.

The assignment in detail

If it runs short or changes in nature, the whole of production wobbles. For a player in this sector, we rethought the way it uses its supply information. AI now helps the teams spot the risk of disruption earlier and decide before production is affected. It also links the quality of incoming feedstock to the yield obtained: the company finally knows what each feedstock really produces, and runs its plants far more finely. Supply is more secure, production better controlled. And the daily pressure has changed in nature: the teams anticipate difficulties instead of suffering them.

Finance

Turning a dormant asset into a lever for growth

What changed

Dormant data has become new services, and advisers anticipate their clients’ needs.

Over the years, a financial firm had built up a considerable wealth of data, largely under-used. We helped it put that data to work with AI.

The assignment in detail

Where its advisers used to see only a transaction history, they now have a real-time view of their clients’ needs, to the point of sometimes being able to meet them before they are even expressed. Out of this reading came several small, simple and targeted innovative services that did not exist before. Data that lay dormant has become a lever for growth, for the firm and for its clients alike.

Street marketing

Securing the flows, then targeting donors better

What changed

More reliable flows, teams better placed in the field, and a significant rise in donations.

For one of the leading street marketing players in Europe, the transformation came in two stages. First, we completely redesigned its information system and its donor acquisition flows, to secure operations and make the flows reliable.

The assignment in detail

Only then did we use AI to analyse locations and position the teams better in the field. The result: more relevant targeting of potential donors, and a significant increase in donations. AI does not replace the know-how of street teams. It shows them where it will count the most.

Sport

Serving B2B partners better

What changed

Fewer avoidable returns, and partners who better understand their own market.

For a major sportswear brand, we redesigned the processes that shape its relationship with its trade customers. The starting point: analysing orders, returns and exchanges between everyone involved.

The assignment in detail

This showed that returns were concentrated on a handful of avoidable causes, which we were able to address at source. Then we went further. With the help of AI, we analysed the needs and expectations of its retailers’ customers, as well as the positioning of their competitors, who sell other brands. The brand no longer just delivers to its partners: it helps them understand their own market better. Its sales teams spend less time untangling problems and more time serving. Here, technology supports their expertise without replacing it.

Other sectors

And many other fields

We have worked in many other sectors: telecommunications, cybersecurity, industry, luxury goods, public institutions… This varied experience is what makes our expertise rich. Flows change from one business to another, but the mechanisms that weaken them or add to their value are often alike. What we have learnt elsewhere helps us see more quickly what is at stake in your company.
